Rabobank Announces Senior Appointments to Business Banking Division

Rabobank has restructured its Business Banking Division appointing State Managers in New South Wales, Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria/Tasmania.

 

Rabobank General Manager, Business Banking Dean Clark said the new positions were part of the ongoing development of the group's Business Banking Division, which was established two years ago.

 

"The Business Banking operation has grown rapidly in the past two years and has now developed to the stage where it is appropriate to introduce a regional management structure to service clients and support business growth in Australia," he said.

 

"In their new positions, the State Managers will lead Rabobank's Business Banking Division to the next level of growth in Australia."

 

Mark Lloyd has been appointed to the position of State Manager New South Wales, Business Banking Division. He has been a Senior Manager in the Business Banking Division since its launch in 2001. Prior to joining Rabobank, Mr Lloyd worked for HSBC as a manager in corporate banking.

 

David Thomas will be responsible for Rabobank's Business Banking Division in Western Australia, and has nearly 20 years experience in finance and agribusiness. Before joining Rabobank as Senior Manager Business Banking, Mr Thomas worked in senior management and corporate lending roles with National Australia Bank and Challenge Bank.

 

Belinda Harris will run Business Banking in Queensland. She has nearly 15 years experience in the finance industry and was previously a Senior Manager with Rabobank's Business Banking Division. Before joining Rabobank, Ms Harris spent eight years with BNP Paribas and several years with NatWest.

 

Glenn Collins has been appointed to the position of State Manager Victoria/Tasmania, Business Banking Division. He has 20 years experience in the finance industry. Joining Rabobank in 2001 as Senior Manager Business Banking for Victoria/Tasmania, he previously worked with the National Australia Bank, Ernst & Young in Melbourne and London, and Price Waterhouse Coopers in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

 

Rabobank's Business Banking Division was launched in 2001 to meet the specialist financial needs of middle-market (small and medium) enterprises working in the food, beverage and agribusiness industries and related manufacturing and service sectors.

Clients include processors, cooperatives, retailers, wholesalers and exporters.
