Internationally, Rabobank is recognised as an industry leader

social responsibility, locally it is one of Rabobank's
core values and one to which we have a long-term commitment.
We are committed to operating in a manner that is sustainable
and meets our responsibility to the communities and environments
in which we work and live. That commitment is reflected in
our Code
of Conduct and through the support of our Ethics Committee
in the Netherlands. Decisions made by all our people, right
through to the very highest level, are based on sustainability
and ethics as a part of good business practice.
Rabobank has a commitment to triple bottom line reporting
and each year the bank produces a Sustainability
Report detailing its policies and practices. In addition,
in 2005 the Swiss-based Sustainable Asset Management (SAM)
Group ranked Rabobank as the best sustainable bank in Europe
(and the second most sustainable in the world).
