Family Succession Planning

The Journey of Succession

Working with your family in business and through the transition from one generation to the next can be challenging. We have a long history of working with rural families and our family business and succession planning specialists can help guide your family through the complex issues so you can reach a shared vision for your farm.

Every family farm is different so one solution does not fit all. Families which start their succession planning early, benefit from increased financial security for each generation, increased motivation for the next generation and greater family cooperation.

Our succession planning services offer a proactive approach to help your family business realise its potential and deal with change.

Family Succession Planning Meetings

Our independent facilitators run family meetings where everyone can have a say about their needs and goals.

It helps to keep discussions on track and makes it easier for people to ask the tough questions. Sometimes the first meeting is all that’s needed to agree on future plans, or your family may like to build on ideas with more meetings over time.

Foundations of Farm Succession Workshops

Foundations of Farm Succession Workshops

Our two-day tailored workshops, run by our succession experts in regions across Australia, will help you develop foundations for the family and business to work effectively together towards common goals.

You’ll join up to seven other families to work through options for family business agreements. Learning is promoted by sharing and working through ideas with others who face similar challenges.
