FHB Food and Farming Report Cover blog post

Australians are wasting a whopping $9.6 billion on food each year! That's over $1000 per household that could be better spent on that end of year holiday, new surfboard or even earning interest in a savings account.

The good news is through some easy steps and small changes, Aussies can waste less and save more.

This year, RaboDirect’s 2017 Financial Health Barometer surveyed 2,300 financial decision makers, aged 16 – 65, measuring attitudes towards food and waste, savings and debt, weekly grocery spend, as well as how much Aussies know about the journey of their food from farm to plate.
