This World Food Day we are thrilled to introduce Kerrie Saunders, a local Moree Gomeroi woman passionate about sharing her traditional native food knowledge and skills. ‘Bush tucker’ and medicines have sustained the Gomeroi people for thousands of years, and today we have the privilege of heading bush to learn more about native grains and plants, and how they can be used to prepare nutritious ingredients that are ‘good for people, and good for country’.
