Our People - Meet Alyce Tropiano

Alyce Tropiano

Finance Analyst, WA

  • Supports our farming clients in Geraldton & Albany
  • Loves spending her days talking to farmers

What is your role here at Rabobank?

I joined the Rabobank WA team as a finance analyst.

After graduating from Curtin University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Agribusiness, my goal had always been to work for Rabobank. When I was at University I kept in contact with the Rabobank team, I even did my work experience with Rabobank. When I graduated, there were no jobs available – but I didn’t stop looking, and as soon as this role came up I applied, and here I am.

How do you help our clients?

I actively engage in the preparation of all loan applications and loan increases. I also respond to branch and telephone enquiries and requests from our clients.

I am currently working with both Albany and Geraldton branches - we have some very progressive farmers, and I take a real interest in what they are doing and how they are working in their business.

My goal is to eventually become a rural manager. I grew up on a mixed grain and beef property at Wickepin, 250km south east of Perth, so talking to farmers every day is very normal.

What makes Rabobank different for you?

It is refreshing working for an organisation that only does agriculture. This year I attended the Dowerin Field Days, I have gone to this event since I was young and when I was at University I used to walk past the Rabobank tent and think how great it would be to work there. This year I fulfilled that dream and I am proud to be part of the team.
