Teacher Farm Experience Program

Australian farms are being transformed by technology.

The Teacher Farm Experience Program aims to increase the knowledge and confidence of STEM, digital technology and agriculture educators to allow them to incorporate food and fibre production into their teaching programs.

This opportunity, including all meals and accommodation, is provided to teachers free of charge thanks to the Rabobank Client Council.

TeacherFX Group

"My interest and curiosity about the ag-world was welcomed, encouraged and supported with practical advice from the host farmers, the Rabobank Client Council and the CQU team."

Our Program

By attending the two day Teacher Farm Experience Program you will receive resources aligned to the applicable curriculum to use in your STEM, food and fibre, and digital technology teaching programs. You will learn first-hand about the latest technology used to produce food and fibre on farms in the various regions across Australia.

All teachers, regardless of what stage they are in their career, will benefit from attending this event and increase their professional knowledge, practice and engagement skills.
