A Foreign Currency Account (FCA) is available to agribusiness clients who have a need to receive and make payments in foreign currencies as part of their agribusiness operation.

Who can apply:
- Existing Rabobank All-In-One Loan Account holders who have an Account Manager
- Minimum opening balance of AUD $20,000 equivalent

International Payment Cut-Off Times
When transferring funds, processing cut-off times apply (see below). Funds sent overseas are usually received by the recipient within 3 business days of processing the payment.*
Note that for HKD, JPY and SGD, the instruction cut off time is the day prior. For example, to make an HKD payment for 16 September 2025, the payment form must be submitted to our Client Services team by 11:00am, 15 September 2025.

*Payments may be delayed because of circumstances outside of Rabobank’s control or due to additional screening and processes (e.g. payments to first-time payees).

For Retail only clients (without an existing Risk Management Facility), please call our Client Services team from 24 November 2025. Wholesale only clients (with an existing Risk Management Facility) can continue to call the Markets team to assist with foreign exchange rates and bookings.
To make a payment from your Foreign Currency Account, complete and send the Payment Request form to sydneyfxmm@rabobank.com until 21 November 2025. From 24 November 2025, please call our Client Services team.
Use the Inward Payment Instructions form to send your account details and foreign currency type to the payer so that they can make payments into your account. For transfers from another Rabobank account, a Foreign Exchange Transaction Settlement Instruction form is required to convert AUD to the currency of the Foreign Currency Account. Contact your Account Manager or our Client Services team who will be able to assist with the process.
