Workshops on Farm Emissions Efficiency

At Rabobank, we are focussed on helping our clients access localised knowledge-sharing programs to support sustainable standards of input and production efficiency.

Sustainability Education Rabobank

Educational sustainability initiatives

To date, we’ve hosted over 100 educational sustainability initiatives across Australia, including both in-person and online workshops. These sessions range from half-day events and webinars to in-depth, multi-day training programs.

Working in partnership with the University of Melbourne and Ruminati, these workshops have been designed to give participants the hands-on opportunity to calculate their farm emissions profile and help develop a customised emissions reduction plan. While also helping build broader awareness of practices, technology, and research as they continue to evolve.

Rabobank is also working with key industry bodies to support their education initiatives, including those funded through the Carbon Farming Outreach Program, with many of these focusing on practical strategies to help reduce on-farm emissions.

For more details on upcoming workshops in your area, reach out to your local Rabobank branch.

Digging into the carbon conversation

“This is an evolving space where a knowledge gap exists, and the workshop provided a joint learning opportunity for clients and staff alike, learning side-by-side for a sustainable agricultural future.”

Supporting local farmers on their carbon journey

“Really, we want to make sure we’re not being left behind and that we’re up-to-date with the potential impending requirements on farming, and this workshop was excellent for motivating us to start thinking about the future, whilst providing knowledge on what may be to come.”
